Good oral health is essential, but the cost can be a barrier for many Canadians. The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is here to change that. With coverage available for up to 9 million eligible residents, CDCP ensures that cost is no longer a reason to skip a dental visit.

Who Can Apply?

You may qualify for the CDCP if you meet all of the following:

❌ You don’t have access to dental insurance
💰 Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000
🧾 You’ve filed your taxes for the previous year
󰎟 You’re a Canadian resident for tax purposes

When Can You Apply?

CDCP applications are opening in phases based on age and eligibility:

Seniors (65+)	Open now
Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit	Open now
Children under 18	Open now
Other eligible Canadians:	May 2025
– Ages 55 to 64	May 1, 2025
– Ages 18 to 34	May 15, 2025
– Ages 35 to 54	May 29, 2025
