Helping Canadians Smile Brighter
Good oral health is essential, but the cost can be a barrier for many Canadians. The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is here to change that. With coverage available for up to 9 million eligible residents, CDCP ensures that cost is no longer a reason to skip a dental visit.
You may qualify for the CDCP if you meet all of the following:
โ You don’t have access to dental insurance
๐ฐ Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000
๐งพ You’ve filed your taxes for the previous year
๓ฐ You’re a Canadian resident for tax purposes
CDCP applications are opening in phases based on age and eligibility:
Group | Application Start Date |
---|---|
Seniors (65+) | Open now |
Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit | Open now |
Children under 18 | Open now |
Other eligible Canadians: | May 2025 |
– Ages 55 to 64 | May 1, 2025 |
– Ages 18 to 34 | May 15, 2025 |
– Ages 35 to 54 | May 29, 2025 |
Oral health isn't just about teeth—it's about your entire well-being. Regular dental care reduces the risk of serious health issues. Yet in 2022, 1 in 4 Canadians skipped seeing a dental professional due to high costs.
CDCP is about changing that.
Because every Canadian deserves:
โ
Access to dental care
โ
Better health outcomes
โ
Peace of mind
